Whilst setting up a wireless router, I was offered Internet Explorer 7 and thinking it must be better promptly accepted. Two things I cannot see is all the tool like File, edit etc and when I click on the mail envelope to go to Oex and I get MSN to sign in - how do I alter to get Oex like on the old 6. Is there no going back? Wendy PS: Oh the the house for home page!

There is an option to uninstall, that's what I did. (Add or remove progs.)

If I uninstall, won't that leave me with nothing - I mean no Internet Exployer? or is the 6 version hidden somewhere

Wendy

Right click on you home(house) icon

On the drop down box that is shown tick menu bar

That should give you your file/edit/view options back

Surely uninstalling 7 is a last ditch solution to a few minor teething problems that can be sorted out quite quickly

I have been using IE7 for the last 2 months and much prefer it to IE6

I uninstalled 7 within 24 hours of putting it on. Dreadful!
Try this one, very fast and lots of addons and it's free! Used it for years
