Hi, as you have all probably heard by now we have just purchased a new Bessacarr E495 which will be ready in about 10 days....so they say lol

Anyway being the optomists that we are we are planning a short break from the 19th Feb for 3 or 4 nights. Does anyone know of any sites that are open at this time of year in Wales, preferably West or South Wales as Snowdon is alas a bit far away. Mid wales or the borders would probably be okay as well.

We've been to Daisy bank and it wasn't to our taste, we also know about Tredegar park but understand you can hear the motorway from there so again not quite us. Preferably we would like somewhere near the coast or in the mountains (not The Black Mountain site .. if you want to know why then pm me).

Anyone got any suggestions or know of a good website where we can search for sites that might be open.

Thanks

You could try these. Brynich near Brecon, Cenarth falls near ceredigion, Home farm on Anglesey, The Plassey near Wrexham. If you want to look at the go

Worth a look and order a book of their sites.

Hi, thanks for those...unfortunately Brynich doesn't open until the middle of March, we've been there before, it's a nice site but if you want to walk from the site you have to cross a busy main road and as nan is 84 this isn't very practical. However as I say the site is lovely with good facilities and the staff are very helpful.

Cenarth is about half an hour from us, but again not open yet. The other two are a bit far away for this break, but definetly worth a look at when we get the opportunity to take a longer break.

Thanks again
