Dont think its that easy you have to be prepared to stretch the truth a bit by all accounts.
I live full time in an RV on my Nursery here in Dorset and never take it on the road, A, because its too big for my licence and B, because I have a smaller M/H that we use for travelling and C, because we just needed extra accomadation because I needed my daughter and her husband onsite to help run the business so we let her use the cottage which (ulterior motive here) lets wife and I get away more travelling. Well to cut a long story short I couldnt find an Insurance company anywhere that would just insure our 37' Newmar for fire and theft whilst off the road. Seems they hate fulltimers fullstop.
If anybody has come across a company that would cover us would be grateful for info. Seems that our situation is a no no allround, god knows why, theres not really a lot of risk involved, it certainly wouldnt get nicked with the slide out locked out and up on all the jacks plus attached to all the services.

Tony, why is 37' to big for your licence? I am assuming you got your licence before '97 ?

There arent many RVs over 30' that are under 7.5 tonnes especially ones with slide outs. Mine goes I reckon 10 tonnes or more its built like a brick s-i-house. Newmars are known for their build quality and obviously didnt skimp to keep the weight down.

There's no such thing as full timers insurance.......unfortunately.
No matter what some people might tell you. Beleive me, I've spent 7 years lying and praying. I'm not proud of it, and it's not pleasant.
