Googlemail (GMAIL) problems this morning?

Our Gmail harvesting (via Outlook Express) failed this morning. Also, there was no access via

There seems to be some problems - Outlook Express just collected the emails, but the gmail website still seems to be down. Google itself seems OK.

But slower than usual to load I thought they have just done an advertising campaign for gmail I wonder........

Invalid email address.

Good point, Frank. You don't need to be invited to have a gmail account any more (as of Monday, I think?) - perhaps they've been deluged with new account subscriptions Confused

I've not noticed any problems with mine this morning. I have my Gmail account as my Firefox Home Page and it came up as normal when starting.

I do know that Google does have occasional glitches. I now use Google Calendar to automatically remind me of appointments etc. instead of Outlook. One morning last month it missed sending me the email reminders. Didn't cause any bother but it did remind me not to rely entirely on Calendar for something really important.

I still think the Gmail is great and hope it does not suffer from recent changes.
