We've got a 2 bike rack fitted to an old van we recently purchased, the top fixings are bolted through but the lower fixings just appear to be screwed in, (cannot find plate on rear of lower fixings). We are looking at upgrading to a 4 bike fiamma rack, are the lower fixings on that rack screwed in or bolted through. Any advice would be fantastic, thanking you all in advance

On my motorhome both top and bottom fixings are bolted through the bodywork with plastic covers over the fixings. If you have the Fiamma pro c carrier you will not need to change your carrier. You can buy a kit to convert it to a 4 bike carrier

Cheers Mark

As Mark says above simply buy the upgrade kit to get 4 cycles on your rack if its a Pro C

Cheers for replies so far.....Not sure what the model is atm, it looks very much like a few year old model of an UL type rack, I don't think I'll be able to get an upgrade for that. If get a new Pro model and I'm able to use old fixings it would be a 20 min job, but if I have to bolt lower fixings its going to be a long job which I'm not looking forward to... any advice ??

A photo always helps.
We can then see the problems you are facing and possible solutions
