Hi folks,

I don't mean to be presumptious as a newbie but I'm gonna make a suggestion.

When reading Forum threads I like to be able to see the latest posting at the top of the list. At the bottom of each page you have a sorting option that allows you to this. Is it possible to either move these selection boxes to the top of the listing for quicker access for lazy ar*^s like me or could you change the default sort order to be by Date|Descending.

Good point and well presented. If you want to use these options then at the top would make more sense. However, does this mean by doing that the the posts are in reverse order because if so, many will not make any sense without reading the others first or have I lost the plot again.

Yeah, they would be in reverse order but that would be OK. When I [b:b0fa61caf5]first[/b:b0fa61caf5] read the thread I want to read them in chronological order, but any other visits to the thread I only want to see the latest posts and not have to trawl through a long list (especially of it goes over multiple pages).

Does that make sense? Or is the beer speaking?

I agree Chasyb, this often annoys me. And then when you write a reply the topic review is in last-post-first order, just a bit confusing.

Maybe there's a way we could choose? Need a techie!
