OK. Sounds cool. Any preferences on which ports to use? I'm driving from Osnabruck near to the dutch border and the route looks fairly straght to Calais or Bouloigne. Any thoughts or does that seem about right?
The high speed ferry from Bouloigne does appear to have alength limit of 7mtrs but I'll give them a call and see what they say. Do they measure you or just go on what they have room for?
