Hi all,
We are complete newbies having just bought a Spencer Sherwood Motorhome on a VW LT40. Our question concerns the Zig unit - when switched to "Aux" are we running all the 12Vdc kit from the 240Vac hook up via the Zig unit? If we are does it also recharge the battery and, if so, can we select which battery it is charging via the "Van / Car" selector switch?
Thanks in advance

Patience, Patience, angryfire

I don't know the answer to your question but as they say in the advert "I know a man who does"

Go to these web sites and have a browse around I'm sure you will find what you want to know ...and a whole lot more Laughing

The Manufacturer it's not a very useful site but you could try emailing them for a manual.

Mike

P.S. Maybe if you had put your question into the " Tech / Mech Talk" bit of the forum someone may have noticed it, anyway I hope you get it sorted fro the sources |I have suggested, if not try reposting in the other slot.

Its difficult to say without seeing the Zig unit or reading the handbook for the van. Even then it may be different if a previous owner has changed it. On my current motorhome the zig unit hasn't got a charger fitted so I have to connect one from the 240 volt when on hook up. The 2 systems are entirely separate. On my previous van there was only one battery - no separate leisure battery. When on hook up it switched automatically to power the 12 volt system from the hook up. Sorry I can't help. Crying or Very sad
