does any one know where I can get a small genarator as described elsewhere on this forum, especially a 12" x 12" one. do they run from deisel or petrol? Rolling Eyes

Hi Ken Although I'm only a newbie myself I get the distinct impression that generator is a dirty word on this forum. I don't know about 12 x 12 my G******* is slightly larger weighs 14k and runs on straight petrol as aposed (sp) to two stroke petrol. As to where you can get them , the best place is probably the show ,this way you can compare them alot easier than going to different retail outlets(me thinks)

We have now stopped selling Honda generators because of the highly competitive market on the internet. Prices have been forced down so much by competing companies that no one is making more than £20 on a £1000 generator! Recently Honda have started clamping down on this practice which causes local Honda dealers to be overburdened by servicing fullfilments for products bought on the internet. Though our supplier told us it was not neccessary for us to stop selling them, we have done - as much on moral grounds as anything else.

There are plenty of generators out there of varying quality and performance. We would strongly recommend Honda if you can afford it, they are top quality and extremely reliable. The EU10i and EU20i are top notch - check out Dave's links.

The best people we know of to buy from are Brian Hughes Generators, they have top service and go to all the shows (where you can book it in for tune up over the weekend). What's more they are very competitive in price.
