Just returned from a few days in France, visited the Paris show at Le Bourget, bit disappointed, not up to usual standard and very surprised at the lack of G.B. reg vehicles, only spotted 2 others (one of those was sporting a Scottish flag) The French have had a fuel price hike since my last visit in July, diesel is now around 90 - 92 cents a litre, still cheaper than here but climbing; did receive a shock though with propane or GPL as they call it 62 cents per litre makes it more expensive than here! This year we have visited the Dusseldorf show, very good but expensive and very poorly organised (IMHO) massively attended with a surprisingly large amount of GB reg vehicles in the camp ground, surprisingly good prices to be had on most new vehicles and accessories. In comparison the English shows are more "entertainment value" as they sport new and second hand vehicles, as well as lots of accessory stands of all varieties.
Any one else got a view on what’s good or bad, home or abroad.
John.
