Hi,
Been looking at different BBQ options. Cobb, non Gas. And Cadac and Beauclaire to run off gas.

Hubby wants to go gas, and be able to plug it into our motorhome gas bottles (soon to be changed to refillable gas).

Have heard that the Cobb is good, and read some good info on the topic on this forum.

Any views on the Cadac and Beauclaire ?
Does anyone have experience of running it off their motorhome gas ?

Run my Beauclaire off refillable motorhome gas, but also have an adapter to run off CampingGaz to release me from the van (like I did at Stew's BBQ Saturday).

Hi, thanks for all your responses.
Have had the conversion now to refillable gas, and had a good look at a friends cadac. Looks ideal, so that's going to be the choice.
Now need to get the external gas point fitted, sounds like the right option.

Theres nothing like a CADAC breakfast (sausage, bacon mushrooms, fried bread, tomatoes and eggs) and eaten al fresco on a nice sunny morning Smile

or even a Chicken Korma in the evening

We have just bought a Cadac and so far we are happy with it. I just got a regultor and some pipe and run ift of the spare gas bottle for now. I am probally going to get a BBQ point fitted though to make it easier.

The only diffrance so far we have noticed is you dont burn stuff on the gas BBQ, but fodd does not have that nice bbq tast, but if you get the wok its great for stur frys etc.

BTW Riversway is about the cheapest at the moment thats where I got ours from.
