I have finished tweaking it now i have had some spare time and all seems well, so all you RVers go ahead and search for the sites you know from personal experience are ok for RVs and then Endorse them with comments and the date you visited the site / stopover etc Smile

Dave, I'm sorry but it appears I was to quick in giving praise when I hadn't checked what had been done Sad

First Campsite MAP: If you select the filter RV Endorsed Sites Only the map disappears for a couple of seconds, on its return there are no icons shown anywhere on the map.

At the top of the map below the filter boxes it says "There are 0 Matching entries in the database for your filters"

Before the 'tweak' doing the above would have shown ALL RV Endorsed Sites over the entire map about 26 entries so far.

Find A Campsite: I see you have added a tick box filter Only show sites Endorsed by RVERs: If I tick this and select just the UK it comes back with 615 matches which is the TOTAL number of sites entries in the UK.

On selecting Spain where I know there was a few sites RV endorsed and I tick Only show sites Endorsed by RVERs: box I get zero matches.

If I untick Only show sites Endorsed by RVERs: and tick Campsite Suitable for RVs/Large MHs I get 38 campsites.

Could it be that that those RV Endorsed entries have been accidentally erased?

As far as I can determine this is a new search facility , it will show zero at the moment until RVers go in and endorse the existing entries..

All previously entered endorsements were erased. I discussed this with Duadua and we decided that to properly endorse the site you needed to add text comments as otherwise there might be caveats to the endorsement etc.

Thanks again Dave.......I thought I was going potty when I couldn't find those already sites that had been Endorsed, just hope the RVers see this and revisit there sites and re endorse them. Smile

The RV Endorsement was added by Duke and started by member Duadua some weeks or a month or two now, if I correctly recall there were about 26 or 28 campsites endorsed in total which were located in the UK, France & Spain.

I've just had a quick test of the search engine by pulling all sites with an RV endorsement. The ones I added earlier were returned, together with one or two others. The endorsemet text however was missing.

Strange but true.............
