Done a quick search but can't find an answer. My question is - what do you use to clean up the bowl, toilet that is? Specially the brownish stains around the water flush outlet into the bowl. According to the Thetford manual I should use Thetford bathroom cleaner, but they would say that wouldn't they?

Off topic Dave but I love your avatar. I've just tried twice to swat it off my screen !

Peter...whatever you do don't scrub at it with anything abrasive. Use something like white vinegar or limescale toilet cleaner soaked onto cotton wool or similar and held against the affected patch for a few minutes. It sounds like stained limescale. If you scrub it it will scratch the plastic bowl and be even harder to remove next time.
