I have set up a few of these now so if I can be of any help. I assume you have got the phone connected to the laptop initially. Have you then put the usb lead into a different usb socket than the one you initially used, this will often be a reason you are struggling.

When you connect with pcsuite look at where it is trying to connect to. I set one up with a three phone once and it was trying to connect via Australia!!!

Hi Stew,

I've now got it working via BlueTooth at 115k thanks to FileSaveAs (and ScotJimland!) which is a start.

The phone connector I bought (

) connects fine with the phone. When I then plug it into my USB hub, XP finds the new hardware, and runs the New Hardware wizard. That's where I get stuck, as it can't find any drivers. I got PC Suite with the unit, but no drivers.

??

Dougie.

Greetings,

Just thought I would let you know that I have finally got my Sony Ericsson Mobile phone set up for T-mobile internet use via the lap top.

I was a little concerned at first as the phone was stating that the charges would be the same as phone charges but after trying it out and checking my usage and costs on T-mobile site I found that it had only cost me the £1 total.

Now I can go mobile with the lap top!
