ok, we're going to Wales this weekend (leave Wed night, home Sunday) and need some ideas on where to go.

We'll be leaving after work on Wednesday night, and would like to get as far as possible that night. Anyone have a good wild camping spot 3-4 hours drive from London? Or a good campsite that doesn't mind someone rolling up quite late?

We're going to Ireland next weekend, so will end up driving through a lot of Wales then anyway (probably ferry from Fishguard, back to Holyhead), so anyone have some suggestions for the bit in the middle? :>

We'd like to spend 2 consecutive nights somewhere, so maybe just 2 suggestions on places to see?

Thanks everyone.

Your spoilt for choice really, but why not start with a bit of wild camping on the seafront at AMROTH. about 3.5 hours out of London. You will be able to arrive at any time, sit on the sea wall and have a nightcap before retiring to the sound of the sea. In the morning the small shop in Amroth will open at around 8 and you can buy fresh baked bread for breakfast.

You can then bimble artound the coast for 2 days on the way to Fishguard passing plenty of lovely places to stay on the way.

We're off tomorow - we're going to St David's - there're a few sites around there apparently, maybe we'll use Caerfai bay - looks OK, but think we'll wait till we arrive - have a mosey.
Bit worried about the weather though!!
Now look Tony, it was raining BEFORE we even decided to go Rolling Eyes
Honest Laughing Cool
And the forecast for that little bit is a little better ( fingers crossed )
