Probably some of you have done this walk in Glen Nevis to the upper waterfall. It was recommended by the Tourist Information, and looking back on it, was very enjoyable. But, when you see flowers of condolence by the "footpath", it does make you think whether you should be there. It’s a 50 minute walk each way through a gorge into an open meadow with a spectacular waterfall. I did not take many photos as we needed both hands for ourselves and each other! We crossed waterfalls and clambered over what can only be described as rock falls. We did not cross the bridge to the upper falls.

A few photos..

Hi StAubyns. Thank you for bringing back such fond memories. My wife and I, along with two other couples, parked next to that sign on Easter Sunday. We took heed of its words and dressed accordingly. Our best move was to include the trecking sticks!

We were lucky in that it was not wet. Rain would have made the rocks treacherous. But the walk itself was spectacular, a real gem. More luck came our way because, as we returned to the cars after our walk, it started to rain and continued to do so for the next 24 hours! How many tea rooms, coffee shops and EW Mills can one visit to keep dry?

Best wishes from UncleNorm.

Let's see that waterfall... By the way, it had not rained for around three weeks!

Hi again! It was strange really as I had been in Scotland since Mar 15. In the beginning, there was rain, wind, very strong wind and snow. On Mar 21, spring arrived, and, by all accounts, so did summer. For most of the next four weeks I had to wear a wide brimmed sun hat. It's one thing to be thin on top; it's another to look a total prat in a sun hat in the spring!

Anyhow, a good time was had by all. Thank you for sharing.

Best wishes from UN
