Hi Again all!
I wonder if anyone could help with the following:
My new van was due to be ready for collection in two weeks, however the manufacturer has delayed production by one week, I took a chance prior to this and booked a flight 'good price and took the chance of no delay on manufacturing'
Now this has happened my choices are to pay loads more for a flight or stay in some hotel in Germany for one to a few nights?
I think the hotel will be the best option, however this isn't a holiday and just want some clean and reasonably priced accommodation, can anyone help with the correct search criteria for a decent B&B, don't need to waste money on some posh hotel! Just need our equivalent of a decent guest house!
I'm traveling to Stuttgart and the van is being collected close to the airport around 10 miles away, has anyone an idea of what I should be using as a search criteria to find accommodation reasonably priced in Stuttgart? ‘Sorry but never was good with foreign languages at School’ – Quite ignorant when you consider how well all other nationalities speak English!!

Thanks in advance!

Hello Kevin;

Try a google on 'zimmer frei stuttgart'

Zimmer frei = rooms free or the equivalent of B&B

We've used the Mercure group in Germany, good value, modern and clean (about £50 for a double room). Try a Google search.

Hi all thanks for the info, I'll do some searches and see what I can find!
@SidT - A lot of money to me, but the van is an entry level Roller Team Sirio 599, the layout attracted us to it! Unfortunately I won't have any comeback with the Manufacturer as the date wasn't definite and I took a chance with a flight I found for £50 Smile
Hence the need to find another flight or stay in Stuttgart for one to a few nights!

Just found the perfect website for hotels in Germany:

'German company' - hope the link is OK, just thought it may be of use to someone in the future, they've got hundreds of rooms and I found one when i'm going for £18 per night!! Shocked
there's plenty to choose from though.
