Hi Ray no probs on A1 or A64---A1 is slow with extra traffic from M1 but thats opened now so by friday just as normal

Hmmm. Also heading to York - Saturday - I gather there is no problem in York itself, and access from Staffordshire should be clear by then (M1 I would have thought)??.

If there is a problem, I would be grateful to hear about it as I'm sure Saruman will be - here's hoping the rain will start to disappear soooooon.......

Not Rowntree Park, luckily for once (couldn't book online as it was full!!) so booked Beechwood Grange - hope that's not under the waters!!

Standard requirements when staying at Rowntree Park in the rainy season...

Fee for pitch
Cable for hook up (Electric points raised above flood level)
Deposit for shower block key (buliding raised above flood level)
Inflatable canoe for trip to shops,
Snorkel,
flippers....

Try Beechwood Grange - its only 5miles from York. I'm still aimimg to go there Saturday unless engulfed by torrential rain.
