Rather bizarrely I've decided at 30 to pick up my running shoes and give the auld half marathon my best shot.

I'm not so much bothered about the pain - although I understand it's inevitable with my dodgy knees - because it's a charidee thing, mate!

Anyway, if any of you kind peeps would like to contribute towards my goal for Cancer Research, I've set up a page at the justgiving charity website.

Will give you guys an update of how horrible it was afterwards. It's the November 14th St Neots half marathon, Cambs, if you're interested. If I can get a MhF badge made up I'll happily wear it the whole way!
