please advise. We are intending to take the Rosyth to Zeebrugge ferry to get to Northern Spain in Spring 2005.
We have some bad memories of France and would like anyone out there to suggest any places to stop of on the way to Spain. Any advice on a good route would be appreciated. Have found a few on routeplanners but would like to hear if anyone has driven through France to Spain.
We only bought our Autocruise earlier this year but have now been to belgium, Holland, Germany and Austria. If we can help with ideas for anyone else going to any of these countries please ask.
Thanks again

We are thinking of doing something similar - only taking ferry to Bilbao and then driving [slowly] back thro France to Zeebrugge.
I am sorry you have bad memories from France - [autoroutes ? aires ? ] as for a recommended route, do you want to spend time exploring and looking for good memories - or just slog thro as quickly as possible ??

thanks for reply. As for the Scottish ferry from Rosyth, we have travelled 8 times on this in the past 2 years. We find it excellent. There are various fares depending on when you travel. We always travel midweek. The company is Superfast and I jknow they have website. We always book with the office at Rosyth because it means we can change our return date while we are away if we have to without having any trouble. We paid £456 for the two of us and our >6metres motorhome return in May and September of this year.
Rooms are Ok, had to travel back in a hurry in June and had to take a luxury room - beautiful and it spoiled us. We will now take this room one way and come back on the basic.
We have been touring Europe for the past 3 years but by car - this year we bought our 'baby'. Let us know if we can help with sites or anything else.
as for our other reply thank you. We travelled through France last year for four weeks and had a dreadful time trying to find places to stay and believe it or not eat. We did not have the mootorhome and we have been told this will be different. We would like to spend some time going the direct route through this time and find a love for Frace that everyone else seems to have. By the way my wife speaks Fench and this didn't even help
Any advice
