I'm in the market for another Battery for my Hymer, but living in the Royal County leaves us rather short of suppliers. Anyone have any recommendations for suppliers:

1. Of batteries
2. Of general Motorhome bits n pieces

in or near Berkshire

regards

Gareth

Batteries....Halfords, Tyre services, etc etc..They normally come with an acceptable guarantee and are unlikely to be of lower quality than a rip off M/H dealer.

Halfords and others will all sell leisure batteries if you ask for them.
My boat ran on leisures from my local motor parts shop in Norwich and my M/H has run on two Halfords leisures for the last three years with no problems and I am not particularly careful at looking after them The one on my boat ran for about 6 years before I changed it and that was left untouched in the Med for 8 months every winter layup period whilst I was here at home.

Thanks....sounds like tomorrow would be a good day to go fro a drive round that way then.......

I must admit, tried hunting the web ( my usual first port of call for these things) and came up with few, or poor results - guess many of these suppliers are not so web aware, or their market isn't

I'll look out for a Rapido in the area in the future.....
