Caravan Guard Discount For Reversing Cameras. |

I found this interesting piece of info off Minerva (Bill) about a discount from caravan Guard if you have a fitted reversing camera you get £10 off your insurance.
I have just renewed my insurance with CG and they never mentioned the discount. I rang them back today and they have put £10 back on my card.
So if you are with Caravan Guard and have a fitted reversing camera on your MH don't forget to ask for a discount.

Apparently they are doing this because they have had a few claims with people reversing into things.
Did they ask you what kind of system you had fitted?

No Bill, they didn't even ask for proof even though I said I do have a written receipt and proof of professional fitting.
Just makes me wonder now if I did back into anything they may refuse a claim 
Will just have to super careful, like always

Interesting this one. I asked Caravan Guard for a quote last year and they were the cheapest by far but insisted on a tracker being fitted.
Stayed with Safeguard in the end - about £100 more for the premium but included the breakdown cover.

Breadown cover is also included within Caravan Guard, and if you fit Phantom tracker to the MH you get 30% discount which will pay for the annual premium.

Thats right Russel about the tracker.they insisted on a cat 5 tracker as well,but I went with them as this was something I was going to have fitted anyway.
