Hi maryiow,what a buy,we love e-bay.

We had a Compass Drifter 410 on a Boxer and had exactly the same problem.

What George1 is suggesting is how we solved it,i don't know what it says in artical, but my husband filled gaps in door frame hinge side from top to floor with that expanding foam sealant you use round windows.

The difference was amazing,Good luck.............

Hi Everyone,

Our thanks to all the replies. They are most helpful and we are considering a couple. Certainly plenty of food for thought in the short-term and long-term.

hi maryiow,
we have a clubman about the same size as yours and we also have the same problem and although not best soluition it's probbaly the cheapest we simply open the air vents at either end of the dash on hot air of course and direct the flow over our shoulders it can be a bit noisy at first but when you have been driving for a while you can ajust the blower speed it does seem to keep the chill off your back and shoulders although it wont warm the back of the van much
