Planning to go to York for a week end in the near future & I was wondering if anyone knows of any decent sites with easy distance of the city centre. Want to park up & enjoy a few beers
Already tried Roundtree Park, booked solid till January

Hi Warsopwanderer,
The Rawcliffe site was a very popular site (haven't been there for a while)Its in the middle of some houses but, is an "oasis".
Across the road is the park and ride, which also has a footpath which goes along the riverside (Ouse) into the Centre of York.
Rawcliffe site also backs onto Clifton moor shopping centre (via footpath).
Enjoy your weekend
George
