Hi Guys
We are looking for a porch awning to fit to the MH for storing boot/coats etc in the winter. We dont need a full size or driveaway type. The ones we have seen are marketed at caravanners, but it has been suggested that one would fit ours, slotting in to the awning rail Omnistor provide on the front of the roll out awning. (I assume we would roll it out slightly, attach porch and then retract to hold firm.) Has anyone any experience of using a porch awning with a MH ? Any drawbacks? Does our idea seem OK ?
All advice appreciated!
Very Happy

We have one of the awnings that slot into our Fiamma Rail. We wind the rail out, slide it on and it takes about 1 mins to do (I just supervise) Ours is as large as the fiamma privacy room but cost only £120 We can put table and chairs and bikes in it. It has come in really useful when the weather is a bit blowy. We bought it at the Peterborough Show.

We also bought one of these last year. they are brilliant and for the money you cant go wrong. Mine was a 4m long one and only cost £135. We also bought the internal double bedroom for £25 so my sister and BIL can stay with us.
I errected this awning at the show i bought it from and so many passing people were impressed. There were 4 vans in the row i was in who went out and bought one after seeing mine. In fact we got a bit fed up with people asking about it in the end LOL.

Sorry to all the safari room dealers out there but when you consider a safari room is nigh on £600 then this is much better.
It has roll up front and sides and opening windows so you can have it like a gazebo in the summer for shade and against the occasional shower. I can seat 16 peple on chairs. Its really excellent value for money.

We got ours from east coast liesure.

Phill
