Hi Cabby

Most of the puspin sets for Autoroute in the downlods section are .axe files and these should open directly in Autoroute. Either just click on the file or use the load file option from inside Autoroute.

It is possible that some of the files that available were created with very old versions of Autoroute..... this may be the problem.

So can you tell me which file you have downloaded and I will test it.

mike

Hi Cabby

As I thought might be the case, that file was created in Autoroute 2002. If you try to open it by clicking on it it will not load into Autoroute 2007, it will cause an error. But you can load it if you start Autoroute and then load it . So please try this ...Open Autoroute > chose File (top left) > Open > locate the file on your computer > Open.

Autoroute will then convert the old format file to the latest format and load it... if you wish you can then re save it in this new format.

I hope this works for you Wink

Mike

By the way if you would like to use a set of push pins that are more up to date they can be found

I used the same version of Autoroute as you (2005) and the method outlined in my previous post...loaded no problem.
try this ...Open Autoroute > chose File (top left) > Open > locate the file on your computer > Open.

Give it a try. Wink

Mike

Hi cabby

Yes that is why I sent the link to

where John harrison has his files.

Our download section contains files that are uploaded by ordinary members for sharing and as such we cannot hope that they will all be bang up to date or exact...
