Thanks for the replies guys, think I'll go for the 720 as I don't need the US and Canada maps. The 720 has a few features I like, not least the ability to "map share" where you can alter roads etc that might not be suitable for m/homes. Very Happy

Hi ksebruce,I have had both tom tom and garmin, currently a t/t but much prefer the garmin? I curenty am looking at a
RAC satnav220 for Ģ235 (can supply phone number of supplier if you want) it has
5 inch wjde screen
fuzzy or full postcde search
fixed safty camera
bluetooth
free liftime reports from traffic message channel
thousands of POI
mp 3 player
seamless euro maps
2gb memory card
it sounds quite good for the money with NAVTEQ MAPPING but will do some research as to weather navteq or tele atlas maps are in the t/t,-I can never rember-this is asuming that they all give the same info as to which mapping they use,as to which i buy Garmin or this.

Don't knock until you've tried it Russ, it doesn't replace paper maps but it has saved our marriage Wink

Is that because how you have mounted it Scotjimland?

Hi, reason i've concentrated on TomTom is that I currently have a Navman icn630 which cost me an arm and two legs. When they brought out new model line they stopped all support for the 600 series Shocked I don't want to fall into that trap again and on searching GPS forums TomTom don't do this. Very Happy
