I am going to the NEC for the first time next week. As far as motorhomers are concerned is this a good show to go to? Or is there a better one in the UK?

For looking at new motorhomes, layouts, and stuff like that, it's great. Most manufacturers are represented, with many dealers too. What it doesn't have is the 'fit at the show' facility of the outdoor shows.

It all depends on what you're looking to get out of it.

It is a good show with nearly all the manufacturers there.
Can be busy at times though. Don't go at the weekend!

I concurr with the above, its the easyist way to look at all the diferent layouts and models. They are all there in one place, no driving from dealer to dealer and then finding the model you want to see is not in stock.

In my opinion, the February show is far superior to the October one, but it is still worth seeing. The Feb show has much more in the way of accessories and other related stuff.

Thanks everyone! It was to look at all the layouts that I was going. I was also hoping to see a few accessories displays. Got to be worth the day out!

It's definitely worth the trip. There are hosts of accessory stalls (around the sides of the hall) with the big stands in the middle.

We went on Sunday last year, and found it busy, but not hectic. Occasionally, we had to wait for one couple to view a van before we could get in.

This year, we're there on the Saturday, and looking forward to it.
