Just booked with Seafrance for our trip in February
Just to let you all know that the MHFacts discount is up and working for online bookings on 'Ammendable' and 'Freedom' fares.
'Saver' fares are the cheapest available, but there is no MHFacts discount with these. I was quoted £52 rtn, an excellent price, mainly for the non popular crossing times. You cannot turn up early and jump on another ship and it is not ammendable in any way. Still a good price though and a good option for many.
'Ammendable' fares are subject to a £7.50 ammendment fee and any difference in the tariff (if any) if you change crossings.
'Freedom' fares are fully ammendable at no extra charge and only the difference in the tariff (if any) is chargeabe if you change crossings.
The best price I got for an 'Ammendable' rtn fare was £76 reduced to £68 with the MHFacts discount.
I finally went with the fully ammendable 'Freedom' fare which is the best option for us as we often need to change dates at short notice due to work commitments.
The price was £88 reduced to £79 with the MHFacts discount saving myself £9 off my subs.
I was going to book this crossing anyway, the MHFacts discount was the icing on the cake. It is also highly likely I will book with them again for other trips throughout 2007 if the prices remain competitive, making the £10 subs an absolute bargain in my book.
Its also worth noting that you can mix and match 'Ammendable' and 'Freedom' fares on a return crossing and still qualify for the discount.
So, a big thank you to Dave (aka Mandy&Dave) who did all the hard work behind the scenes to obtain the discount. Cheers Dave
Pete.

The 10% discount we have at present runs for 12 mths, with luck we can continue to take advantage of this saving and prolong it for another year, as this community grows through membership the subs fee is reclaimed the first time they book a crossing... it's that simple!
Also the larger the ranks swell the negotiating becomes easier at the table with more on offer in the way of discount.
Don't forget that booking a crossing is not limited to your motorhome hols in France, if you wish to go across in the car to top up the essentials..
Regards Dave

Hello from me. Can you tell me how you prove that you are a MHF member. I do not have a printer but I do recall someone asking this same question many months ago, just can't remember the answer that was given then. Can I pay someone for the postage to have a membership card delivered snail mail.
Many Thanks,
Norman

and select the book online tab and go through the dates and times required then enter the code in the special promotion box at the bottom of the page, then carry on throught the booking process.
You can do this with and without the discount code to see exactly how much you are saving.
When you've paid, just make a note of the reference number and present it at the ferry terminal.
