Hi Ken. I will have a go at that. With some saying they are a load of rubbish and can't get anything I was very apprehensive, but more by luck than anything i got a good picture almost immediately. As the dish/LNB was out on the patio I pulled it in through the patio doors and was surprised that the double glazed windows made no difference, although we are not overlooked as it was by the window I drew the curtains and it still worked perfectly, I really look forward to experimenting and finding out just what I can pick up.
Cheers Sid

I am also looking forward to trying the unit again.I bought it 2 years ago and never got the unit set up.
I used to use a dish on a tripod I bought in Towshure.I found that easy to set up thats why I did'nt persist with the Lidl one.

But now have a Katheryn sat on the MH which I use with a Sky box and card but not always easy to set up. Smile

Hi Aido
One of my friends has a Kathrein square dish on his MH and had trouble setting it up. His decoder was built into the TV. We connected a small Lidle box with a scart then looked for a signal from Astra 1.. The Kathrein was slightly different to a dish with arm but the direction it points is the same only the inclination of the dish is different. We set up the small lidle dish shown above then pointed his in the same direction Once we got the Sat we marked the mechanism in his wardrobe so he can just repeat it every time (in the same location) If he goes north the inclination is less. But he will get the knack of what to look for and lock on easily Its a bit like the crankup, I bet after a few uses it becomes second nature .His picture is excellent
