Have been thinking about having a Van Aaken Smart Box fitted to the van for quite a while now. However the cost was a limiting factor so the idea was put on hold until finances improved somewhat. Whilst reading through Nukes newsletter I came across Van Aakens request for volunteers with motorhomes to have the Smart Box fitted in return for allowing them to take readings and to update their data files. I jumped at the offer and phoned them up to book the van in. The whole process took a couple of hours, the Smart Box was fitted by Van Aaken engineers and has made a great difference to the vans performance. I also made a substantial saving, the cost would have been £400+vat, the offer was for £150+vat saving me a whopping £250+vat.
