Italian truckers have been on strike since dawn on Monday, blocking the main motorway junctions, and International access points.
90% of the country's filling stations are now without fuel, supermarkets have no milk or fresh fruit/veg. etc. etc. Transit on the main motorway systems is severely compromised. Expected to continue until Friday, but will of course be several days after that before things return to normal.
