Hi

Has anyone been able to get an internet connection on their laptop using there phone's basic Web&Walk service, if so could you help me out with the settings please.

TMobile say you cannot do it unless you subscribe to their W+W Max service, but I believe others on here have achieved connection using the basic service Wink .

Sony Ericsson K800i phone

Hi Chris

Load the Sony Ericsson PC suite CD that came with your phone onto your laptop, this should create a modem based on the phone. Then add a dial-up connection in Windows specifying the mobile phone related modem. Don't enter any user names, dial-up numbers or passwords. Click on the new dial-up connection and it should connect.

Sorry didn't notice the sony erricson bit. If you go to t-mobile home page and join "my t-mobile" you can put your phone No in and they send the correct settings to your phone by text message then you simply "save" them to your phone.

Hi all

Thanks for the quick replies, it's like having your own tech support on here.

Gaspode

Will give the settings a whirl and report later, had not thought of setting up as a dial up as we pay for data/modem connections, have been trying with cable etc using Sony software with no joy.

Thanks to all
