there have been numerous posts about getting into the chat room and i wondered if a slightly different approach may by better.

Nuke - i dont know if this software will even do what i am about to suggest but here goes;

why not have a scrolling chat box down one side of the screen ? when you are logged on you can just post in the box.

We have already tried one of those,it was called the shout box.
