Hi

For the last few weeks Firefox is behaving very oddly for me. When i click a link to go to a forum posting, it will present me with the 5th, 6th or just random posting. If there are 2 or more pages of posts it will choose a random post on a random page (well to my mind random anyway).

Only happens with this site.

Doesn't happen with IE.

Don't think anything has change on my PC, any ideas before i reinstall Firefox?

Same here, but it's quite a recent phenomenon on my PCs.

Hi

A few weeks ago, there was a request that when you click on a link, it will automatically take you to the first unread post since you last logged on. In some cases, this might mean that you haven't actually read the other posts on the thread - it's done by date and time.

I think this is the case Wink

Yes, I have an idea, and no, you can't turn it off Wink

There was a lot of discussion at the time (amongst the staff), and the majority verdict was that it was a useful addition.

Do you click on the "last post" icon?

i click on the name of the thread under "Recent Motorhome Forum Topics".

Can't understand why IE behaves differently to Firefox though unless you've got some very good html coders...Or IE doesn't follow the html rules

It's a fairly well-known fact that IE (Microsoft) makes its own rules. Other browsers conform to universally-agreed standards, but Microsoft pick and choose what they comply with Rolling Eyes
