All my recents postings to the forums don't seem to show up. I have been getting the general error warning lately, could that be it? Or have they pulled the plug on me. Even my postings on this forum have not show up.

Same with me. I posted on Sunday, checked on Monday, it was there but no replies. Now it's gone. It doesn't even appear in my recent postings list.

Perhaps we have been bad boys?

Hi Ken,
Only an assumption on my part, I suspect Dave had had to reload a back up copy of the site prior to being hacked, this would account for a small loss of recent posts. I expect Dave will tell us soon or later. It looks like the site is up to speed again now.

Hmm interesting one that with there being a couple of you.

We dont delete posts, unless there has been a genuine problem like the error messages this week and the poster has pressed twice, in that case the duplicate would be removed.

If there is anything bad we alert Dave know and he makes the decision, but it is rare for a deletion, a post may be moved until a decision has been made but again that is rare

Thanks for the replies. 'Recent postings list', Where do I find this?. I have been looking for my previously sent posts. Regarding my missing posts, I have sent posts reporting the recent general error warning and also posts Monday night but none show up any-where. Also I have just finished my review of our new van and want to put it in the reviews section. But I want to include a photo with it. Could you explain how I do this please.

sorry about the lack of communications today. I think its cracked now, we have the site running on shiny new server, only problem is that the hosting company went to put the extra ram in i specified and its the wrong type so we are running on less Ram than usual so the site response will probably suffer until they get replacements (No later than Friday i am informed)

The site should be working in most other aspects, i know of a couple of bugs outstanding, pictures cant be uploaded to the gallery and the donations thermometer graphical display is missing.

I need to rebuild apache and embed GD Support for all those techies out there who know about these things, but will do that early am tmrw so as not to impact the members of the site too much, so hopefully when you all arise tmrw it will be sorted Smile

bear with us during this period of change and MHF will come out better and faster Wink
