I can no longer pick up anything from dish... the Signal strength and quality bars are good, but from memory they go yellow when all is well.. now they stay grey but the 'locked on' is still ok.. I can pick up the tv guide but when i go to a channel the 'no satellite is being received' comes up.. any ideas?

network ID 0002
transport stream 07D2

thanks

Sounds like your dish is not aligned correctly. is this a sky box you have.?
are you in the uk? you sould get 07d4. if its an old sky box it could be a software problem, try nudging the dish a bit, . TRY this press services then 4 then 0 and 1 quickly then slect , this sould bring up installers menu. press2 this sould get you default transponder 11.778. if not key this in . then save and install. good luck

Is it a manual dish? It could be that the dish is aligned wrongly and you are locking on to a different satellite. Been there done that!!

John

Mine was exactly the same yesterday. I think it was the severe rain etc. All OK now though.

Check all connections between lnb, control box, sky box and tv. If no joy, see if you can borrow another box from somewhere to check it isn't your sky box, OR put your sky box on someone elses dish to check its ok.

thanks all will have another go later..

The dish does move in strong gales, and I just turn it back a few degrees and it locks straight on..

its odd that the signal and quality bars are as they should be, and it then becomes 'locked' .. but the bars dont go yellow as they should...

I am thinking now that it is the wrong satellite lol
