Does anybody out there know if the TT910 supports the mapshare facility on the latest version?
Or, is it even worth upgrading from V660 to the new map?

Sad

Hi Soundman
Yes it is supported.
Is it worth it? Thats what I am trying to decide myself - parts of southern France are pretty poor...

Mark.

Thanks Mark

At least it may be worth it for the Mapshare scheme alone!

Our TomTom 910 is two years old (as are the maps), and we're going to go for the latest western Europe maps before the summer. I see that 'Mapshare' is built-in with the new update. That should be fun Confused

It sounds good in theory - I do wonder what's to stop some silly beggers changing the maps just for fun, and messing up everyone else's maps? (Cynic that I am, I know).

You have a choice whether to accept all updates or only those verified by TT. Very Happy

After finally deciding to update the map on my TT910, according to the Tom Tom website it says I have the latest version of map.
My version says VI660-1219. I thought we were into V7.... now
Anybody done it lately who could just take a look at their screen?

Probably done it already but you need to download the latest
version of tomtom home to use the new ones and currently
they only support windows.

Good luck

Phil

Yes Phil, I have the latest version of TT Home but since last post I have found that the map should be V710 now although it still says I have the latest version installed.
The map Share certainly dosent work on my version

Does anybody know what the difference is between Western Europe Maps and Western & Central Europe maps apart from the Ģ5.00 difference?
