This very evening the carolgavin clan fancied a wee treat for dinner. Payday is upon us and we like living dangerously. So we perused all the menus in our quest for some yummy delicacy. Finally settles on chinese. . Obviously half the population of Lanarkshire have the same idea as myself. Nothing for it but to go out and pick it up. Rolling Eyes

Off I go pick it up and settle down for my feast Very Happy

Opens my chicken noodle soup my absolute favourite and..........................no bloomin noodles. Oh there was the spring onions and the bits of strangely brown chicken but as hard as I willed them to appear nothing of the noodle variety. Enraged (yes I am that sad Laughing

) I phone back to chinese. Errr theres no noodles in my chicken noodle soup I say feeling more than a tad foolish. Silence on the other end then very excited chinese voice says 'noodle, plenny noodle' I say no noodles in soup when I got home. 'Aaaaah' wee chinese man says triumphantly having solved the case of the missing noodles 'you must eat noodle on way home'
Well I was speechless, I had this vision of me driving home sooking noodles out my soup just so I could get more out of him. Surprised

After a while I finally persuaded him I couldn't drive and eat noodles at the same time. He said he would send up another soup. This one had no soup just noodles Laughing

Moral of this always check for noodles in your soup!!!
