This is also posted in Mech/tech chat... but does anyone know if I can swap the current rear light cluster fitting for a push or screw fit one?
I can't access the back of the current fitting to change a blown bulb, and I don't realy know what else to do about it, rather then get a garage to swap the fittings which will then make any future changes simpler and much less stressful.
Thanks

Why are you not able to access the back of the lights?

I can't access the back of the lights because there is not gap in the gas locker to reach around for it (on the driver's side) and the plastic toilet backing on the other side is also minus a gap. So I'm kind of snookered.
I'm pretty sure it didn't leave Auto-Sleepers like that, and so I'm assuming a previous owner has had it modified or adapted for whatever reason.
And when I bought the 'van it wasn't something that crossed my mind. I now really wish it had.
The 'van was bought from a dealer and came with a 12 month warranty (I'm half way through that) is it something that they would sort out either fitting lights that could be changed externally or by creating the necessary gaps?

Yes, Auto-sleeper are extremely helpful.
My light covers are screw fitting on this vehicle which is an Auto-sleeper.
Hope you get it sorted.

Removal of the whole cluster isnt that difficult to be honest - took us about five minutes a side to swap the standard unit for a tinted one (thats why we took them off)
Attention to detail is usually Autosleepers forte...
