My M'home insurance is due for renewal next month and I have been getting quotes. I have been with the CC for the past 3 years, but this year with the change of vehicle they werent able to do a good deal. Safeguard were better, giving me unlimited foreign cover and Safeguard Assistance, but we are already covered by the AA. The C&CC seemingly had a good deal, but not inc breakdown cover. How do you decide which is the best!

Whilst reading through the C&CC policy cover it said there wouldnt be any theft payout if the windows (understandable) and roof lights were left open. We sometimes leave our dog in the van and in summer we would always leave the roof open with the blinds closed. I suppose we wouldnt be covered. I have to say I would be more worried about losing the dog!

What a minefield! Any thoughts would be welcome

My thought is go with Safeguard, because although you think you are already covered with the AA, my betting is you are not, but you will be through Safeguard Smile

It's the difference between the AA, and AA Fleet Services.

Have a look at your C.I.S Co.operative insurance its good and covers Europe-wide cover for the year

If you are over 50 try looking at Saga - Budget pricing on-line suggests we should save around a £100 compared to our current supplier, Safeguard.

If you go with Saga have a very close look at the conditions regarding a courtesy car if you have a accident and your car MH is of the road.for more than 14 days due to the unavailability of parts, the clock starts ticking as soon as their repairer gets your vehicle
