Just wondered if there are any private owners out there willing to hire theirs out at a reasonable price.

We hired earlier this year from a company called Motorholme, I wouldnt say it was cheap but they bring together owners that hire. Had two hires 1st went badly wrong(breakdown couldnt be fixed for a least 2 days) but 2nd was great. Main advantage with them, they are countrywide and hire different types. We wanted an A class to try the dropdown bed and now have bought a Hymer B584.

Good luck.

Hi, where are you based? I/we are in London and have a brand new Roller Team Autoroller 700 7 berth available but it might be a) too large for you and b) to far from Scotland.

If you fancy, drop me an email LINK REMOVED BY MODERATORS

Cheers,
Mark.

Hi,

Make sure you are covered under the insurance policy, most private policies will NOT cover for Hire and Reward and its not much good saying your a friend if it goes wrong.

If your caught, there is NO insurance cover and you could be liable for a lot of money and be fined.

Regards

Peter

If you are going to hire, please use a reputable company, so that you get the correct insurance and breakdown cover. I hire out motorhomes, and am not offering this advice to plug my company, but to help you stay safe. I've heard some horror stories of people being left stranded after an accident when they hired form a private hirer. All of our motorhomes have fully comprehensive insurance and Uk & European breakdown cover.
We only had one in accident last year, and as the motorhome was driveable, i personally took another motorhome to my customers, so that they could carry on with their holiday without interruption
