Lidl will be stocking Propane gas regulators on 21st Feb for £9.99, looks to me like a couple of different ones on their webpage :-

Hi, DO NOT USE ONE OF THESE ON YOUR VAN. These are adjustable regulators up to 2Bar pressure which is roughly 60 times the running pressure of your appliances. A good quality correct specification regulator is only between £6 & £8 & should be changed every 5 years. Dont take chances with your life & those camped around you, Steve

Could not agree more, 2bar is just under 30Psi! What are you car tyre pressures?
When you consider new Motorhome and caravans are 30mbar!

To be fair, the Lidl ones are not being marketed to campers-they are used for DIY at those pressures for burners etc.
Yes, but how many of your average Lidl shoppers buying a can of beans, loaf of bread and a pack of butter will know this. Buy a cheap tent, along the ilses, borrow uncle Jack's old table top cooker and........well you know the rest.
We are just warning people "to be fair".
