We've used Camping municipal de Guerame in Alencon before now. Easy walk into Alencon which which liked very much and a pleasant friendly campsite.

We like Le Bec Hellouin but it might be too near Rouen for you. The village itself is a good visit (though quite a climb from the village to the site)
The Abbey gardens are worth a visit.
The site has good facilities.
I think that it is in the motorhomefacts site list

(added note: It is listed as Camping Municipal St Nicolas in the Haute Normandie section)
The same site is reviewed as being in Basse Normandie by another member
It is summer only

We use "La Campiere" at Vimoutiers, a quality municipal site with good facilities. There's an aire with waste drop off next door. Open 1 March to 1 November. Vimoutiers is a small town in typical rural Normandy countryside, but not far off routes to Le Mans.
