We are planning to stay around Loch Ness one night, anyone stayed there?
Last year, June, we hired a floating motorhome and "did" Loch Ness. The prettiest tourist trap was Fort Augustas. And, close to your heart, there are a lot of taps on the canal complete with long hoses.
It rained all week which kept the midges down but it didn't spoil the holiday.
Then at the end of August we bought a MH and did it all again. We did struggle to find spaces everywhere, this MH lark is getting too popular.
