Can anyone recommend a campsite within 2 hours of Santander, or can we park our motorhome on the docks overnight?

Depends which way you are travelling, but if you are heading to or from the East of Spain, Haro is about 2 hours drive. It's a reasonable site about 20 mins walk into the town, and mostly Autopista all the way to Santander.
