why have we got in blue, Thanked ? times in ? posts.
Is this a personal pat on the back or is there a reason for it that I am missing,this is of course quite possible. Sad
While I am in this state of mind limbo, what about these medals.
Not moaning just like to know.I even have trouble with abbreviations as well.btw etc.

By here do you mean uniquely to MHF, in which case I'm not aware of any, or do you mean quite general internet abbreviations? If the latter, does this help, easily reachable by Google or Wiki, both excellent references tools:

Personally I am against the 'thank you' notice, it can encourage cliques to keep on thanking each other to build up an apparent ' good sort ' front. If you wish to thank someone then a simple post added to the topic seems adequate.
