I have a question "Why when I post a reply to two seperate threads do I only get credited with one extra posting."

No doubt the answer is somewhere on the site but I can't find it.

How do you mean "post a reply to two separate threads"? Do you mean "post two replies in separate threads"?

It's not a phenomenon I'm aware of. F'rinstance, you're currently on 139 posts. I'll bet when you reply to this thread, you'll be on 140.

Probably Confused

Hi Gerald,

Thanks for moving the thread, I was not sure exactly where to put it.

When I posted a reply in the " Best Duvets for ski resorts" thread it registered as number 139. About 8 minutes later I posted a reply in the "Insurance" thread and it remained at 139.

It will be interesting to see when I hit the "Submit" button now if it will go to 140.

Strange, that.

I've just checked, and all posts are there. All I can think is that the profile information wasn't updated immediately, despite the posts being there, and registered on the system.
