being the sad-o that I am we've just pulled into Guernsey, and are onboard the condor fast cat going to st malo... (have to stop at Jersey aslo)... cranked out the old laptop and found an open network...

crossing was choppy and MOH was feeding the fish. Shocked

waiting for 20 mins for the guernsey newbies to board, then another 1 hour to jersey, another 20 minute wait and a final hour. 5hr 15 in total.

speak to you all soon

hahaha

now sat in Nantes Mc Wifi!, and laptop charging as well, OK I'll come clean it cost €2.60 for a hot chocolat & espresso.

Comet Vomit aka Condor Ferries info:

Our truck is 6.58 x 2.75 (height) x 2.14 m.
It will take a bigger vehicle, although it's a barrel of laughs (not) when you park it... they are so close you can't get between some vehicles. Any to make matters worse it stops at Guernsey & Jersey and some cars etc get on an off Shocked

Speak soon

Glad you have arrived safely.

I think her indoors, or rather her out on deck was probably calling for her old friend Hugh.

hi all

the cost was £39.90 one way, but that was after the £90 discount for 1500 air miles.

Kato (MOH) is now feeling a lot better, after her BURT incident.

We are only a few miles from Bayonne, and heading for Biarritz.
So far we have only stayed on aires, last nights had FREE Shocked electric, although 2 frenchies were already hook'd-up and I didn't realise untill this morning.

As it's cold here, around 6-10 degrees, we are going to head for Portugal. We'll do bits of France on the route back.

Sorry if this is going off topic!

Hi are you staying at the Beach aires at Anglet if so let us know where you can get WiFi nearby?. In fact any others you pick up on your journey to Portugal would be appreciated.
Really envious as it is cold here and grey and miserable and why should you get all the fun while I am digging the garden, decorating?
Have a mediocre journey.

Wilse I am intrigued that air miles could be used for that.....I hadn't seen that advertised.... only seen P&O and Stena for Ireland...
