Slightly off topic but important to remember.

I had a car damaged at e dealers when in for a service a few years ago
and had trouble getting it repaired.

I now get the receptionist to walk round my vehicle and point out and make a note of any damage. A digital camera is usefull at this point.
When I collect I check that no other damage is visible before paying any bills.
Regards Dave
PS take spare keys with you to collect vehicle. Just in case a dispute occurs just ask them to post your bill and drive off.
You cannot be charged with stealing your own vehicle.

Dave P

Bought our 650 from Danum
Lots of niggling faults that spoiled the package
Went back with a snagging list but most issues were not dealt with
They are just not very tolerant when you have queries, problems or even general enquiries
Was also told that it was a goods vehicle when I complained about paint
Contacted Autotrial (not a mis-spell) and was pretty much given the same response to the same questions
'Come over to the factory! - we can't do sod all but come over anyway - see what you could buy if you earned enough to buy an Autotrail'
Have fixed most issues myself, and have to admit relucatantly that I will not be buying Danum, CI or Autotrail in future
It's all in good condition now though, but no thanks to the dealers importers or CI who must all think we are a bunch of complete tossers for accepting the shoddy product, patronising service and downright unethical business. They must need s**t loads of horlicks

Health issuse have limited our use of the van over the last year and it's currently for sale with very low miles and lots of kit
Can't think of a dealer I would trust to deal ethically with me so will probably give up motorhoming altogether
